This
Website is for people who want to get into
the voice over business.
First and foremost, I'm a
voice actor. I record between 110 -
150 projects a year from clients who range
from household names, to mom 'n pop stores
in small towns.
Over the past few years, I've
been approached many times by talented
people who wanted to find out how to get
into the voice over business. I
thought about hosting a seminar for some
time. So I attended some seminars and
webinars and researched the various sites
that offer such services (just like you can
do). I came to the conclusion that
there wasn't enough specific, usable
information being presented to students
hungry for the real deal. And frankly,
I was in a state of sticker-shock.
The information I saw just
wasn't tuned to the real world day to day
voice over industry. Yes, it's great
to hear about a top network TV promo voice
who makes seven figures and records in a
professional, sound-proofed studio built
into his $6 million dollar Los Angeles home.
But this is not where anyone starts, and
that includes you and me.
In the
REAL WORLD of VOICE OVER, there are
thousands of voice over jobs being recorded
every week, and they are projects that
you're not likely to hear in public and they
will be between $100 and $300 and that's
that. Of course, as you grow and gain
experience with smaller jobs, you will find
(and I will show you how) larger jobs that
pay more. There comes a point where
you get those larger projects that are heard
and are visible to the public. And it
doesn't have to take that long!
So I finally committed to
hosting voice over seminars, and the
decision has been very rewarding. I
love sharing the information I learned
getting into the business less than four
years ago. The fifth in a series
is being planned for April of 2014, and the
specific date will be announced shortly.
What makes the event extra
rewarding for me and certainly for the
attendees is the fact that I have the most
wonderful co-host, Lauren O'Quinn.
Read about Lauren by clicking the "Real
World Voice Over Seminars" link above.
She is an experienced actor and voice actor
with hundreds of commercial credits on her
resume. You will love her and the
verve she brings to the room.
While Lauren and I love to
talk to anybody and everybody about voice
over, I am very selective as to who I
actually work with. If you want to get
into this business, and you are an actor, or
a person with creative skills and some kind
of qualifying entertainment or public
speaking experience, then you are the kind
of person we're most interested in providing guidance
and mentorship.
Thank you, and I look forward
to hearing from you!
